The Art Of Pleasure

It’s been a week - or two. I apologise for the delay in getting out a new publication. With the long weekend here in Melbourne, and honouring my cycles, I found myself in my Inner Winter, deeply needing rest. Honestly, I didn’t have the time or energy to create anything new for you to read.

After the long weekend, I naturally moved into my Inner Spring, a time of productivity, increased energy, and planting new seeds. But I got swept up in a whirlwind of business events and courses that needed my attention, which led to my Substack taking a backseat for a week!

But here I am, back and recharged!

As I reflect on these cycles of productivity and rest, I am reminded of the profound importance of honouring our natural rhythms - something I talk about alot, but it really is so important. Just as the seasons change, so do our needs, desires, and energies. We are cyclical beings, and honouring those cycles allows us to tap into our deepest potential for pleasure, creativity, and connection.

Keep reading and get the practice on Substack...

Acknowledgement of Country.

At Evolving Hearts, I honour the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Dja Dja Wurrung peoples as the traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work. I recognise their deep and enduring connection to this sacred land - a connection rooted in ceremony, storytelling, and the honouring of life’s cycles for tens of thousands of years.

This ancient wisdom resonates deeply with the work I do, grounded in sacred sexuality and connection. Just as the First Nations peoples have always revered the rhythms of the land, I seek to honour the sacred rhythms and cycles within ourselves, embracing all aspects of who we are with respect, compassion, and love.

I believe there is so much to learn from the traditions of this Country’s original custodians - their ability to honour diversity, to live in harmony with the earth, and to celebrate life’s interconnectedness. These teachings inspire the heart-centered work I share with individuals and couples.

With deep gratitude, I pay my respects to their Elders, past and present, and to the emerging leaders who continue to keep their culture alive. May we all walk forward together in truth, connection, and unity.
