We live in a world that expects consistency. Productivity. Desire on demand. But your pleasure and sexuality is not something that can demanded. It’s not meant to be “consistent” and it certainly doesn’t need to be productive, especially if you live in a female body. Female sexuality moves in rhythms, just like the earth, just like the moon, just like life itself. It ebbs and flows.
For so many women, frustration, shame, or confusion arise when their libido fluctuates. One week, you feel magnetic, deeply connected, craving touch and intimacy. The next, you pull inward, needing slowness, tenderness, or even space. Instead of honouring these shifts, we are often taught to ignore them - to push through, to override, to perform.
But what if the key to deeper pleasure, connection, and self-trust was not in forcing yourself to be "on" all the time, but in understanding and honouring your own inner seasons?
